Xuan Bao is a postdoctoral associate who joined Chen lab since Nov. 2021. Xuan got her M.D. from Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2013. Then she got her master’s degree in Ophthalmology from Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, Sun yat-sen University in 2016. She had been a visiting scholar at Keck school of medicine, University of Southern California in 2018-2019 before she received her Ph.D. from Peking University in 2021. Her research in the Chen lab focuses on 1) human eye atlas using single cell sequencing technology and 2) genetics and mechanism of eye diseases using iPSC differentiated cell models.
