Jianming Shao

Jianming Shao is a postdoc in the Chen lab at Baylor College of Medicine from Jul. 2023. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in bioinformatics from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2017. Before joining Dr. Chen’s lab, Jianming has worked as a postdoc at Houston Methodist Research Institute on identifying epigenetic biomarks for cancer diagnosis, prognosis and minimum residual disease monitoring. Jianming’s research in the Chen lab focuses on discovering and functional interpretation of vision disorder related variants.
