David is an undergraduate student at Rice University studying physics with a biology minor. David joined Chen Lab in the summer of 2023, and his current work focuses on using machine learning to predict the pathogenicity of genetic variants in Inherited Retinal Diseases. In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing, baseball, playing music, and trying new kinds of food.
