Aurian Maleki is a research technician in the Chen lab who started as a member of the spatial transcriptomics team in November 2023. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Rice University in May 2023. His current research in the Chen lab focuses on: 1) transcriptome profiling of lower central nervous system structures and 2) implementing cell segmentation algorithms for spatial image processing and analysis.
